I'm Just about done with my build, but need as converter for my 62 /6 and PB904. Instead of speanding the bread, could I just use a converter I have sitting around that was in a 70 318/904 combo?

No, the '70 converter has a larger input shaft spline and will not drive the '62 transmission.
