The configuration looks like the Clifford # 55-0100 (I have a new set hanging from the rafters). Except yours look like the outlet flanges were cut off and the pipes made into a single outlet. The 55-0100 is for 1960-1966 "A" body with a 225. Clifford also listed a 55-0144 for the 1960-81 "B" and "E" bodies, and the 67-81 "A,E,F",M" bodies with a 225. I don't have a picture of that header but think it looked very similar to the 55-0100. What size are the primary pipes on those headers? They look larger then mine. PS the 55-0100 headers I have, would need a little "tweeking" for clearence on my 66 Valiant with a 225. I wound up using the 55-0010 (shorty) on that car. They fit fine. Any header currently made is going to require mods on a 170 engine. In my opinion, it is much easier to modify the Clifford "shorty" headers # 55-0010 |

i haven't picked them up yet, I won them on e bag , and was wondering about my options. I guess i should try to trade for some shorties, or a 170 specific header, so anyone want to trade? |

they sure do look like cliffords 1 5/8in tubes, i would cut the mess of the collect and join them farther down the exhaust when installed in you car. |

thanks for the info. Now the tricky part, making them fit on my 170, with minimal work as possible. Any suggestions on how to make this happen? I got a good one from charlie already, but would like to hear if others have done this so.... |
