This part number (distributor advance spring kit) has been discontinued. I've inlisted the help of the local "speed shop" owner, who thinks Mallory ignition springs might do the trick. I'll pass along any info I get.

Didn't ask about the "points" kit, but assume it's gone as well. The shop owner asked if it would be posible to use the "light" spring from a diferent distributor to get to total advance a little faster, but even the light spring looks like a real battle ship! Hope my converter is loose enough....

I have used the springs out of other Mopar distributors, even SL6 distributors have a wide range of spring combos. (170 vs 225, Light cars, Heavy trucks etc.)

Go to the wrecking yardss and "gut-out" a few distbs., that will give you some springs to work with.

Sad thing about "loosing" this "Kit" is that the spring combos were already worked-out, pretty close to optimized, this saved on "trial & error" time.
