How can I get them out of my instrument cluster? |

The knob on the wiper switch may have a set screw in it. The light switch has a push button you depress and then the knob and shaft pull out. The button is usually located on top of the switch body and a PITA to get to sometimes, especially if you have large hands. |

See this post for tips on headlamp knob/stem removal. The wiper knob will indeed have a setscrew. Once you've removed the wiper knob and the light knob/stem, the switches themselves are held on with ring nuts. |
