Hi Slot Car, I could not tell for sure how your columns are supposed to line up, but the bottom line is Factory specs will work OK, so don;t be afraid of those. However, you should go towards the lower limits on toe in with radials. Set the castor as high as it will go. Both sides need to be the same, so one side will be the determining limit there. Also, with radials you can make the upper part of the tire lean in slightly on camber. I never remember which is negative, and which is positive on camber, but if it leans in slightly at the top, it will improve corner traction. The radial's tread will stay flatter than the bias tires did, so you can increase that adjustment slightly. I have mine set at one degree in at the top.

These guidelines will produce better cornering, and better road feel. If I were you, I would find a set of factory 14" wheels before I bothered with all this. You will get a big improvement in handling and drivability simply by going up one size wheel and tire.

That is a beautiful little car you have there. A set of factory 14" ralley wheels would look terrific on it.

Thanks for the reply and I rrewrote the summary of alignemnt specs.

Ater consulting my textbooks to be sure which way was tipped in at the top, and it is negative camber, I would recommend your top set of specs for your car. If you can get more than 1 degree of postive caster, than go for as much as you can get and still have it balanced.
