 Post subject: Manifold milling?
PostPosted: Mon Nov 12, 2001 11:17 pm
I've got a 78 S6 set-up. I want to have them milled before I bolt them on. You know, to avoid any possible vacum or exaust leaks. Where is someplace near or in Los Angeles that is reliable and has reasonable prices?

Hollywood Machine Shop in Pasadena, on Walnut Ave, does good work.

Call around and ask if the shop(s)can resurface a manifold's mounting surface. (this is really a grinding operation so I would not call it "milling")
The shop I use in the Bay ares charges $18.00 to do a set.
