Hi
i've got trouble with my new holley 390 cfm. I don't know how many turn i have to do with the idle mixture needles. The engine runs well, but when i put the drive position it stalls. Probably the mixture is too rich ?
Holley 390 cfm, clifford manifold, pertronix ignition, stock exhaust and stock manifold.
thanks

Actually in this case, it may be rich enough, but the idle screw is set too low.... you should block the wheels, have a buddy in the car step on the brake and put in drive... set your idle at that point (try 800 rpm or a bit more if it's still stalling)...

Don't want to steal the show but i've got a similar problem but its the opposite. Mine runs to high at about 1200rpm's, and thats the lowest. I noticed I can force the throttle closed and it will be alright. I actually just put a strong spring on it. Am I missing another adjustment?
