There's a good possibility I'll be pulling my head this weekend.

Doc, you suggested a lapping compound for touching things up before reassembly.
I spaced the name/brand you suggested. Could you share it again here?

For this application I would think 320 would be the stuff. Is that what you would use?

The 320 "Fine" compound works great.
You should not need a lot to get the impression you need to see full seat contact.
If the valve angles are off, your machine shop should correct the problem.
