I am new to drag racing classes all I have ever done is test and tune stuff. I know it has to do with weight and power-adders but how are the classifications setup. But I was wondering what the current records are for each class and what makes a car meet that classification. I have read posts about cars being in multiple classes hows that work.

Records are on page 40. One usually changes classes by adding weight, but there are obviously other ways to run a car to change classes. Nitrous or not, gas or alcohol, etc.

Classes for the Slant Six Racing News series are different then the classes for NHRA, or IHRA
