I was backing by '67 Valiant out of the driveway and heard a top like a backfire but not as loud, then she died. She's turning over but won't start up. She's been idling rough and sporratic until she's warm, then if I take my foot off the gas, she dies, but I guess that's a problem for another day. For now I'm just hoping for some tips on getting her going again, the motor's out of a '74 Dart, with original '67 distributor.

Sounds like your ignition timing has taken a big jump, perhaps due to a broken distributor drive gear or a jumped timing chain. Pop off the distributor cap, crank the engine, and watch to see if the rotor turns smoothly.
