my 75 came with a factory Chrome Gas Cap i lost it i think i was wondering if it came with it or if they went to the dealer and got it and i would like to get another one

You can find them at most autoparts stores.

I think most all the replacement ones are chrome. No need for stocking different colors that way.

well then go do that, and see if they have one. they probably won't. if you want a factory original one you will have to watch ebay closely and be ready for $$$. or you can buy a MotoRad one and remove the cheezy warning plate and roll that. i personally think the factory ones are a liability, too much of a risk on a daily driver. the motorad ones look fine. Jeep YJs use the same cap so they are still easy to get.
