Post subject: Spark Plug Tube O-Rings
PostPosted: Mon Mar 04, 2002 3:28 pm
Hey guys! Does anyone know where I can get the
0-rings for the aluminum spark plug tubes on my
motor? I didn't even know there was suppose to
be some until Doug said so.......I wonder if that's why my motor was so oily??

If no one sells these things for the vehicle,
what are the dimensions for the correct ones?

Thanks
Mike

We picked up a engine gasket set at Autozone that came with them. It was a Felpro product, so the o-rings are out there somewhere.

I think you can get them at NAPA. NAPA has alot of parts for the old Mopars.

If you still need them I think I have about 100 or so o-rings that are high-temp and last much longer than the originals. The best place to get these is from a bearing supply store. I used to get them from Motion Industries, part number 2-218. (Hey, you didn't check the Slant Six Parts List in the Articles section!)
