New Hot Rod came in the mail yesterday. Sat down on the bowl this morning to read it, and what a pleasant surprise. A whole page of slant six stuff. Including the URL for this very site. Sweet. -Kip On Truckin' |

Ya it's a good thing I drove the van and not the valiant. I doubt the valiant would have made it in. That van gets attention everywhere it goes |

In the article it says that the slant in Doc's is all aluminum - including the head.... i didnt think Chrysler made any aluminum headed /6's ?? |

They didn't mass produce aluminum slant heads, but they made a few prototypes. A handful survive. Read up on Twiggy. |

Wow, you guys are on the ball. Got my copy in the mail today. Very cool. I've heard of the prototype aluminum head. Doug, do you actually have one on your ride, as stated in the article? |
