On the second attempt at the Super Six Conversion I have success! Carter BBd idling smooth and fast reaction to throttle! I can't wait to drive the truck and feel the difference. (New York winter a foot of snow and three inches of road salt will delay the thrill for a while) Thank you for all of the advice and encouragement on this forum! |

I blocked all the open ports on the carb and had another set of hands to run the ignition while I worked the throttle by hand because I did not take the time to run the new cable was able to idle the motor at about 1000rpm the turn it down to about 500rpm in park. I guess the original problem was just trying to do the key and work the carb by myself should have asked for help earlier. |
