What is the "ideal" CR for the Erson .510 lift cam, assuming 4 bbl intake, headers, headwork, etc. that will be driven part street and part strip?

I'm pretty sure that there is no comfortable street "part" to this cam's equation. 10:1 for openers on the strip.

A true 9.5:1 would be my absolute minimum, but that cam will work best with 10:1 - 11:1. I'd shoot for 10:1 if you want to run pump gas, although you might even get away with 11:1.

You really will want a high stall converter with this cam. For street-strip, I'd get a 3000 stall. Stick would work well too.
