On the Woodburn Dragstrip schedule I got in the mail, we got a couple plugs.
On the June 20-21 Oldies But Goodies and the Aug. 8 and 9 Hot Rod Nationals races it says Slant 6 points race Saturday. Pretty cool I thought.

Yeah I saw that too when I got it! I'll be there in June, but can't make the August one.. I'll be coming back from a month in London that weekend.

Anybody going to any of the test'n'tunes coming up?

If I can get the sheet metal on the car quick enough...

I think Fopar is planning to be there...

Tomorrow I'm going to try to get the car substantially back together. At least it idles now.. Once it's back together, I should be able to make it up for the first, or maybe the second one.

The question for me is if California will be on fire by then.
( we do know that one place in Nevada will be "burning" near the end of August)

Thanks..

No just show up, they have the track open Friday afternoon for pit and camp set up, NO TEST AND TUNE.
Dave is usually there to try to get a big area together for the slant six group and I should be there also.

At this time I am planning to drive out for the June race at Woodburn. I was impressed with the turnout last August and would like to meet some of the people I never got to race with like Josh, Stephanie, MiDi, & Thor. Also I need to see Jerry actually drive a car down the track. I was there in 2006 and really enjoyed it.

We'd love to have you! Once again we'll circle the wagons and pitch tents. Unless you're fancy like Paul Olds who built his own teardrop trailer.

I look forward to it as well. I probably won't have a car that I can call "mine" there, but I will be there, racing or not!

I'm assuming camping there is just for campers and trailors.. I rented a motel room as I didn't think there would be spots for tents to be set up..
