Hi everybody.

I've got a serious problem.

Time ago I bought several products from Clifford Performance.

This week we started mounting everything (thanks Doug for your help), but we made a mistake when mounting the rods and pistons, and one piston and one rod have broken  . The rod has this serial "2205554" and the number 5 on it. The piston is an hypereutectic .060 overbore one.

I attach a photo of the pistons box.

Anybody knows where can I order only the 5th rod and one piston?.

Thanks to all for your help.

Thats a stock rod and piston. Pull a stock rod from your spare engine pile or ask on here in the parts wanted section. These will be easy to find.

I have extra used connecting rods.
A .060 o/s cast piston should be easy to order.
Shipping to Spain will cost some $$

I'm waiting Clifford Performance staff's answer. They are trying to get them. If they're not available i'll have to turn to you again Doc.

Thanks to all.

Just as a data point, a good used 225 con rod should cost about $10.00 and a new cast piston, under $20.00

Depending on the source and whether a set is ordered, it varies but that's pretty close, I've seen some recently at $108 for a set of 6, with an average locally at $21 per individual... the funny part is most parts stores locally are selling the oversizes at the above price, and 'standard' sets of 6 are about $200... (I guess no one has a 'stock bore' any more....LOL)
