How are the fuel injector guys running the injectors on to the manifold?

Is there an aluminum casting that one can weld onto the aluminum manifold?

Thanks

Richard, to put it bluntly......YES

I don't think it's a casting, but is turned out of aluminum stock. Available from MSD, from their fuel injection components parts. MSD claims that they will accept the GM injectors. Warning....MSD is a little proud of them. Locally, I was quoted $90 for a set of 8.

It's been suggested to have Clifford/Offy intake drilled at 45* right next to head mount flange for the bosses. You could then either epoxy , or have them welded into place. I think I'm going the welded route.

Just a trick of the time zones......I just happened on at the right time.

Not sure I understand fourth sentence/question. "cm ones"....is that a typo, and you wanted to say gm ones? If so, yes, it would be the injectors that have been used pretty much since they started doing EFI.

I meant to say, but I never proof, GM ones Like the Standard Bosch ones.

my other project is a subaru station wagon with a watercooled flat four, pushrod (they use it for experimental, root word MENTAL aircraft) and it is turbo'd and injected. Yours truly cracked a head and you can't find these damn things anywhere, so I wanted to ionject a non injected one. I think I would be better off making my ond bosses though as they are supposed to be the rubber hosed units so I need mount screw bosses on the heads as well as the nose seal.

Been forced to derive the valeint (darn!!!!!) and I still love her!

I hope everyone knows that all of the regular (non-hyperpack) 4bbl manifolds from Clifford ALREADY have these 45 degree injector bosses cast in to them. I have a WH and non-WH, both with the bosses in them. Might save a lot of time and welding...
