I have an 81 Dodge D150 and from what im getting for info, is there a difference between a 904 from 77 to a 904 from 81. Cuz no dealers around me have a kit this new for a 81 904. So another question would be is would a 77 shift kit fit in an 81 tranny. Thanks

the only thing I can think of that might be different is the torque converter and its bolt pattern but I can be wrong

81 will be a lock-up, so no, the earlier kit will not work.
