Re-engineered Carter AFB actually. I use Edelbrock parts in my Carter.

Did Weber do an AFB clone as well?

From the pics I have found it seems as if Weber actually manufactures these carbs for Edelbrock Have a 500cfm on back order - Edelbrock badge will be removed pronto - I LIKE Weber :D

I have used those carbs. Last one I bought had FOUR manufacturer's names on it - Weber, Edelbrock, Federal Mogul, and Carter...

Eddy bought the carb divison from carter and has weber make them.

Weber has been making them for Edelbrock since the late '80s. Saw it in an old Hot Rod mag few days ago.
