have had an intermittent dieing at idle problem - finally went to look into the problem and find wholly @@%$ - there is gas leaking from the fuel pump! - at least it seems to be from the pump and not the connections or hose or metal line - is that possible? - if i need a new pump any brands to use or stay away from ? - while i am at it should probably do the fuel line mod although cant really say if i have had this problem - being this is my a100 van is there any difference for this mod - that is the alt being in different location etc - oo3

Yes, the diaphragm can rupture and leak. Check your oil and make sure it's not leaking inside the motor too.
