The turbo is a PTE6262 DBB .63ar on the exhaust. It is a Grand National based turbo. It is supposed to be capable of 670hp.

What kind of steel are you using tom??

Stainless or just more Regular Thick Pipe stuff?


Is that the same turbo as when I went for a ride in your sleeper MAchine?

This a different turbo than when you were in the car. Way bigger on the compressor side. Exhaust turbine is bigger but the AR is the same.

It is just mild steel. 16ga & 18ga pipes.

Looks good Tom. I'm assuming your running an internal wastegate? I got some pics of the turbo setup on my dads Dart I should show you. It's going to be a 318ci though. I finished up the exhaust a few days ago.

It looks like you may beat me this year. I may have to do something this winter to fix that. Later

Yes, it is still an internal wastegate. I have one of the 6 pipes done. It will be hard to beat your ET because I still plan on running the skinny tires. I hope it MPH's like a SOB. I'm hoping for 120+.

Looks GREAT man Makes me want to build a set of my own! You are the man for getting it done. I really like your build and have been following it closely for a while.I think you have made major accomplishments in the slant world. I mean 12.9 on little whitewall tires and 2.94 gears brings a smile to my face every time I think about it . Wait till you get a reworked head and new cam,it will be a whole new beast.
