The PS pulley will bolt on, but you have a bigger problem. The 72 torque converter "nub" will not fit the hole in the end of the 65 crank.
The diameter of the crank register got larger between 67 and 68. You cannot use the 65 converter in the 72 trans, because the diameter of the trans input shaft also got larger, between 67 and 68. The onlty tqo options are to put a later crank in the engine, machine the end of the crank larger, or use a custom converter, with the small "nub", and large input splines.

PS: putting a later engine in a early car is easy, but a early engine in a late car has major problems.

well crap. if the crank is good in my 72 would it just bolt in the 65 block? i could do that esay if it would fit. there is a converter shop in town i guess i could see what that would cost?

Yes, if both engines are 225's. The 65 might be a 170, you will have to check. You will also have to check that the 72 encine is a 225, and not a 198.

well i think they are both 225s the 65 motor came out of a b body. the vin on my dart says 225. but it has been messed with. i think someone added a super six set up to it. so its a bolt in if they are both 225s. i like that. now if the crank is ok in the 72. i think it is. it's still running but sounds like a wrist pin is knocking. won't know till i tear it down. i know there is an article on here somewhere to tell for sure what ci they are. i will search for that.
