Can I purchase a complete rebuild kit for a 65 225 motor or do I have to purchase individual parts. The places I have checked didn't carry a complete kit.

There are a couple ofplaces online that you can do it like Northern Auto Parts, some stores do have rebuild kits, you can check their online pages and look under the engine section... Be warned not every kit is complete...most will come with pistons, rings, gasket set, oil pump, but other things you will need to provide: thermostat, oil pickup,etc...
