All,

I know that there is an interference problem when using a front disk brake conversion kit with the factory stock anti-roll bar, but does anyone know exactly where the interference occurs? I have acquired a set of 72 LCAs with the stock anti-roll bar mounting tabs that are located to the outside end of the arm. They need new bushings and I am wondering if it is worth rebuilding them. I plan to use a Firm Feel bar that attaches to the shock mount which clears the break caliper, but I am wondering if the stock mounting tab itself will cause a problem. I am installing them on a 64 Valiant. My thanks in advance for your insight and advice.

Roy

It looks like the original mounting tab would be in the way for the "non tab" Firm Feel bar to be put on that LCA, if that's what you are intending. The end link assembly would hit the original tab. http://www.firmfeel.com/swaybars_a.htm

You could cut the tabs off or rebuild a regular set of LCA's.
