Hi all,

Has anyone used the Mopar Performance Aluminum pulleys kit part # P5249472?

It is a 3 piece Kit(Single groove crank pulley, single groove water punp pulley and single groove alternator pulley). They say that the bolt pattern is the same, but care must be taken with the cleaence between engine and radiator and also with the align of the three pulleys.

In the "Six Cylinder Engines" MP Book they advertise this as for Slant Six engines also, but they are the same for Small Block engines.

My question is, how does the crank pulley fits? Do i need to use a separate harmonica balancer with it? maybe a BB balancer

Also the Slant Six engine having the damper and crank pulley all in one has the pulley groove very close to the engine, using the crank pulley from the kit listed above will separate the belt almost 2 inches from the engine toward the radiator ... mmm

If anyone has used this please send me his/her feedback about this MP pulleys ...

Regards,
Martin

There is no way a V8 crank pulley works with a slant. Sounds like another MoPar misprint.
