I have a 63 valiant with a 170. By cast #"s it is a 1965 engine with a 4 speed trans.

I also have a 1970 225 out of a 1 1/2 ton truck, it was a 4 speed also.

I want to pull the 170 and replace it with the 225, By cast #'s the 225 is listed 68-70

Any issues i need to be fore warned about.

You'll need to swap the oil pan and pickup. You'll also need a '68+ car flywheel as the newer 225 has a larger flywheel centering ring on the crankshaft than the 170. Also, the exhaust pipe will be a little short and won't reach the exhaust manifold in it's new, higher location.
