I am going to put an a833 OD transmission in my truck that has a \6 727in it am I going to have to change my drive shaft lenght?.If so is it shorter or longer?

How big a job am I in for?

Any pointers will be appreciated!!!!!!!

i'm on the same mission as you in my 80 d150 with 727 I think the drive shaft yoke is the same but no sure about the lenght. I had to cut a floor out of a truck at the wrecking yard as I have the small hump.
