Today I broke 3 spark plugs when removing them from my Austin 1800 ute as the plugs were so tight. In my Valiant I always torque spark plugs to finger tight then another quarter of a turn with the spanner.

What is the considered torque when tightening spark plugs in any marque?

Thanks, Peter
