Okay, this is under the hood of my '78 Volare, slant six of course.
I have looked in the FSM, and all the diagrams that I saw had just the four prong ballast resistor. My Volare has this four prong ballast resistor, but there is also a two prong resistor connected between the positive terminal on the coil, and the wire from the harness.
Years ago, I had Jacob's Electronics ignition system, but I removed it along with everything that came with it. Or did I? I'm thinking that this may be something that I don't need, what do ya'll think?
Again, all the wiring diagrams that I have seen show just the four prong ballast resistor.
Thanks!!!

Only one. The other one doesn't belong.

Thanks Dan!
That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. I knew the four prong ballast resistor belonged there, it's been there since I bought the car. Now I can remove the two prong resistor with peace of mind.
Thanks again!!! :D :D :D

Okay, I just removed the two prong resistor, reattached the coil wire, and... She still runs! :D
Okay, a little more cleaned up/less cluttered under the hood.
Onward!
Thanks again Dan!!! :D
