Does anyone have a photo of how this Bouchillon Kick Down cable works at the carburetor end with the linkage? What needs to be there or modified for these to work with a Carter BBD other than the longer throttle cable? What brackets are needed? Just the Super 6 bracket or has anyone used the Bouchillon Performance #3395 Accelerator Cable Mounting Bracket?

I don’t know if these photos will help, as this application is on a Holley 390 cfm. 4V carburetor perched atop my slant. I used Bouchillonâ€￾s universal cable adapter, and a Holley Chrysler carburetor cable adaptor (gold colored attachment to throttle shaft) as this holly carburetor came equipped with GM type connections in order to achieve full throttle opening. As you can see this device can be adapted to most any carburetor.

In this photo I had yet to connect the kick-down cable which would attach to the lower stud protruding from the gold Chrysler adapter.

Looks like it might work. My application would be for a Carter BBD on a aluminum mopar manifold. My question would be if it is mounted to the carb mounting stud if the cable would pull correctly on the 2bbl linkage. I think it might be to low. Ideas??

I'm running the bouchillon as well. the bracket included in the kit can be made to work with most all carburetors, including bbds, according to the instructions (which are available online for your inspection-complete with photos).

See my photos here; though I am running a holley two barrel you will see it took some modification.
