Post subject: Help guys, IM hooked!
PostPosted: Sun Aug 04, 2002 9:41 pm
It's all your fault. After watching you guys race for several years, I have the addiction. I WANT A SLANT CAR.
Don't think IM crazy but I would really like to have a 63-66 Valiant or Dart wagon.
IM not looking for an all out racer just yet, I would just like to have a nice little car /6 car to hop up and play with you guys at some of the other events and cruise around in also.
A wagon is preffered but will consider Darts 63-71, Valiants 63-72 or whatever as long as it's a 2 dr, auto slant car.(4dr if it's a wagon).
I just purchased my first /6 part now I need something to add it too.
IM also needing any good deals on Slant parts such as: headers, manifolds, cams, and etc. but most importantly, ADVICE.
I know you guys will understand even though my small block & big block Mopar buddies think I've lost it in my old age. Help!

I got a '64 Valiant wagon a few weeks ago
for $500. They're out there, plenty of them.
I have a DeSoto, interesting car, but hardly
anyone knows what they are. Anyone who wants
a good A-body can easily find what you're
looking for. I saw a '67 Cuda notchback
today, looked pretty good to me, asking
price was $3200. Where you at?

I'm in South Texas. The asking price for my
wagon was $800, I paid $450. We don't have
a big problem with rust here so there are
lots of surviving cars, but many of the cars
aren't running like this '64 V200 Valiant wgn.
I've got a seven A-bodies, all good project
cars, all cheap. My '71 would look like new
with minor paint and a dash pad, that was my
most expensive car at $1,000. They're out
there, they keep following me home :)
