Saludos! There is an aluminum tube surrounding each spark plug, to close the space between the cylinder head casting's outer wall and its inner wall. Each spark plug tube has a rubber O-ring that should be replaced because they cook, harden, and crack, then they don't seal any more. Also, remove the metal ring washers from the new spark plugs before you install them. Tune-up parts and technique suggestions in this thread.

Saludos Señor Dan.

Remove the metal ring washer from the spark plug??
is that a recomendation, or a spec from DODGE?

I noticed my engine is leaking hell of oil when at hig way speeds, ,,is this due to this aluminum tube seal been cooked allready, or this tube and O ring never touch the Oil?

it sounds complicated to me, sorry.

my engine is running like a champ, on the last two days I have pushed the engine to 80miles per hour,,and it seems to old it really strong...if it was't for the oil leaks and the freeze plugs that are giving up..

thanks.

Both.

When the tube seals fail to seal, oil will leak. There are other places oil can leak, too, such as the oil pressure sensor and numerous other gaskets and seals.

It's not. It's really easy.
