I'm going to do a 73-76 disc brake swap up front, and am told I need a new MC to make it work right. I don't know about that, but I'd definitely be happier with a MC that isn't painted in heavy rust-so bad I'm afraid to clean it cuz I'll have only a wet rusty puddle left.

That said, I'm looking for a new MC. Can anyone comment on suppliers to avoid or suppliers you recommend, or have yourself used? I have a 4 door, manual brake, manual steering 69 Valiant.

Finally, has anyone out there tried Justsuspension.com's RedBore MC? I read about it, but CarCraft will pimp just about anything new, so I'm skeptical of some of the claims. I accept the article's stated 1/3 reduction in pedal pressure (how much the driver needs to apply to floor the brake), I'd just like to hear from someone who's used it.

Use a Raybestos #MC36412 (w/o power brakes) or MC36406 (w/power brakes). Easy to get, reliable, well matched to the system, not expensive, easy to mount...need more reasons to mess with super kustom dood aftermarket master cylinders?

I recommend the late model aluminum/plastic master cylinders. The OEMs switched years ago to aluminum/plastic because they don't rust and they are lighter.

DoctorDiff.com can set you up with the correct MC as well as the adapter plate. You can also get a heat shield for the MC and an adjustable pushrod if needed.
