I'm preparing a disc brake swap on my 68 valiant. I found a disc brake set from a 77 volare. Spindels, calipers, discs, prop valve.
The discs are 11" and the drums I will be using are 10x2,5

The volare used to have power brakes, but I want non-power/manual brakes on my valiant.

Can I re-use the prop valve from the volare?
What size MC should I use for this set-up 15/16" or 1" or 1-15/16"?

Thanks,

Antoon

Use a Raybestos #MC36412, 1-1/32" master cylinder. You can use the F-body combination valve. Take the opportunity to install 13/16" bore wheel cylinders in your new 10" rear brakes while you're at it — does a terrific job cleaning up the disc brake A-body rear lockup problem. NAPA-United 37696, Raybestos WC37696, Wagner F113704, or ACDelco 18E268 is the wheel cylinder you want — times two (left = right).

Thanks Dan,

That's some helpfull and quick awnser.
The original volare MC was about 26,6 mm which equals to about 1" 3/64.
Does the MC you recommend give me a decent pedal feel?

Thanks,

Antoon

Original Volaré master cylinder bore is not metric. It is 1-1/32" (in fact, it is the same MC36412, with nonpower brakes, used with nonpower disc brakes in the '73-'76 A-bodies). Pedal feel is excellent.
