Are there any special brackets or mounts that I will need to look for?
I am making and welding my own LCA mounts and buying the hoop mounts. Am I missing anything special?

You have the parts lits right. :) If you have the bar correct, when mounted to the lower control arms. I found that 1" of tension pushing the bar where straps can then bolt on, is just fine. More than that if your cornering hard.
