I plan to install soon/later a used Hurst ratchet shifter. I wondering if I can use self tapping bolts to mount to the floor instead of bolt/lockwasher/nut.
anyonw done this b4?

it might hold for awhile...better to drill holes and use bolts,flat& lock washers, and nuts

Jon You could run a tap up through the shifter holes and then run bolts down through. That will hold them up top for you while you go under to put washers and nuts.

I just found the diagram for this unit. Hurst promatic 2
it has bolts/washers/nuts thanks all.
