I need some help decoding a VIN and fender tag on 64 Dart that I found. I know it's a V8 4spd car, but some things don't match beween the VIN and fender tag, such as the first three digits of VIN matching the fender tag at the "BDY" portion. Here's how it all reads:

A is 3, F is 1, H is 5, J is7, K is 6, M is 3, N is 8, P is 1, T is 3, W is 2, and Z is7.

Any help would be appreciated, I'm interested in buying the car. It's been in storage for 27 yrs, needs some work. Asking $2000 for it is this a fair price? I'd say it's in #4 condition, everythings there (all chrome pieces have duplicates that come with car) but it needs a complete tear down.

Thanks for the reply. The info. helps alot! I think the "unknowns" from the fender tag may be for some of the options on the car that I hadn't ever seen. Things like left and right hand side trunk lights and a center light, also light mounted in the door panels.

Anyone with any idea of the value of this thing? There is alot of rodent poo under the hood and on the floor boards with a big nest under the rear seat. I guess that's what 27 yrs of storage in a barn, with no rear window, will do!
