hey hey,

I was cruising around today in the 67 valiant and the right turn signal just stays on solid now.
Left one works fine, i've also never had this happen before.

Is there a simple part thats needs maintenance?

One of the right side bulbs (or filaments) has failed.

Or lost a ground, or has a corroded connection. I recall when taking the grill apart I forgot the spade ground connector wire and it did funky things to the flashing.

i know the back bulb works, but if the front bulb goes out the right side stops blinking?
I'll go look at the front one in a second.

hhhmm.

I simply removed the bulb and cleaned the contacts off witha paper towel and now it works well.

You may want to check & clean your kilowatt drains (grounds) for each of the exterior light sockets, and apply a bit of dielectric grease to the sockets that are exposed to moisture, or have previously corroded. Reducing as much resistance as possible in lighting circuits will promote brighter burning bulbs.

i agree and will.
The car was re-painted in the like 94 and the light cover was still painted on in 2010!

The connection did look pretty corroded. and the lights appear mcuh brighter now.

This leads me to the next problem i'm having and i'll make a new thread to post it in.
