I finally got my car back from the exhaust shop. The Clifford shorties fit very well on my 170. No problems except maybe finding the room to route the pipes out of the engine bay. I'd think a 225 would have more room to do that a bit easier. At any rate it turned out very nice, but 25 degrees was too cold to drive it although I had no choice if I wanted my car home. But it did run ok after about 15 minutes of driving.


We decided on 2" pipes through an x pipe and Smithys mufflers. Very nice low and smooth idle with a good noise when getting on the gas. Can't way until after winter so I can dial the carb in.
