| Post subject: | Brake Caliper Anti-rattle spring O ring |
How do you position the O ring under the brake caliper anti-rattle spring on a 1986 Dodge D150 pickup? The Service Manual is not clear on the position of the O ring (looks like a black rubber band) under the anti-rattle spring. Does it just go around the bolt and lay against the inner rectangular part of the retainer clip? |

The band is supposed to go around the caliper mount before the caliper is installed so the band lays in the square corner, but I feel they are of so little value I don't bother. Mine go into the garbage. |
