hi folks, I am the new aussiespeed canadian dealer. I bought a 72 swinger with a hopped up slant 6 last year with plans of getting rid of the slant. After bracket racing the car a few times I realized how much of a blast this thing was to play with, and now there is no way I am getting rid of it. At the time the engine had a weind 2 bbl intake and a 500 holley. It ran fine but idle was erratic and just didn't feel crisp. I ordered and installed a hurricane 4bll (long version) and a 500 carter carb. I took it to the track and knocked 1.5 tenths off my et and gained 2 mph. Any drag racer will know those gains are significant. Idle is now nice and stable, throttle reponse is amazing, and people get blown away by how cool it looks. thanks again and yes I am completely lost. even your guys lingo is confusing. i'm basically a gearhead so the learning curve will be steep
