looking to figure our $$$ for a spare build.

who makes high comp pistons with turbo/thin rings for a slant. I talked to Venolia they said $79.95 each to my specs no rings.
anyone else out there make good high comp pistons?

It is really hard to beat the Wiseco / K1 piston & con rod set-up. (7 inch c to c connecting rod)
As far as high compression factory size SL6 pistons... you will need to have them custom made.

I had Ross make a set of thick deck 3.5" bore thin ring pistons. They were right at $120 each with pins, and another $240 for nitrous rings. That was buying 8 too.

Most any piston maker will do pistons to your specs. Make sure to ask prices BEFORE you order though. Ross charged $40 a piston to move the pin hole .100". I thought that was somewhat excessive when it was a custom piston anyway. :shock:

what compression would that bring a stock uncut head and block too doc? and how much does the combo cost?

Getting that looks like aprox $1000 delivered...
The Wiseco / K1 parts will get you 10 - 10.5 to 1 compression, depending on where your uncut block and head are.
