how much should the internal parts of the distributor move when max vacuum is applied to the vacuum port at the distributor?
I have a 72 B-300 /6 with points and was wondering if it was working right as i am troubleshooting some engine performance issues.

thanks in advance

Dosn't move much, maybe a tenth of an inch if that. Dosn't take much movement to advance the timing.
