Anyone ever use a truck linkage rod on a pass car? I know the throttle cable bracket is the same, but it looks like the linkage rod is slightly different between a car and a truck. Seems the truck rod has a semi circle bend in it whereas the car rod has a 90' bend.

I'm fairly sure my supersix kickdown linkage originated from a pickup, and is now attached to a 72 Dart. Doesn't seem to be any issues, but maybe take a picture of each to show us what you're referring to?

I can verify that the long kickdown rod on a van is different than on a passenger car due to the shifter linkage arrangement on a van. The two are not interchangeable when used on a van. I can't verify a truck two barrel kickdown is different, but I would not be surprised if it was.
