Someone mentioned realgaskets.com as a possible source for valve cover gaskets and trans pan gaskets. I called them up and guess what.... Mopar guy. Buttoned up the motor with the new gaskets they are very nice. I would say the valve cover gasket is the best I have ever seen. He is working on a oil pan gasket it looks great too. Just to let you know I like them.

Cool. I think someone else posted experience with him, but the oilpan is news. Would be great to have a good one of those...

Sorry guys, it's just going to be the long sides. But we can make suggestions.

The original post is here.

I have received both the valve cover gasket and 904 oil pan gasket, but I haven't mounted them yet, so therefore no video yet, as I promised in the original post. They look real nice, but the valve cover gasket could have been fitted with the small tabs for the openings in the cover, like on the original gasket, for easier placement, but it is really no big deal. I don't know how these gaskets are cut, but it may be possible to get gaskets with the tabs in the future, if we make a request for them.

The gaskets are of different thickness, 904 gasket is 3/32", and valve cover gasket is 1/8".

Chris at Real Gaskets Tenessee can be reached at (423) 543-6194.

Olaf.
