Pull ed the engine in my 64 barracuda (273 sorry) and i had to remove the steering column to get the manifold off. since it's out i figured this would be a good time to "straighten" the steering wheel (it's off by about 1/3 of a turn). since the steering wheel is splined (and keyed) and can only go on one way, and the column is also splined (and keyed) and only goes on the box one way. where do i make the correction?

Never underestimate the power of an IPO to hamfist something together the wrong way round. Two-filament brake/tail or park/turn bulbs can also "only be installed one way", and yet…!
