Ok here we go
got the
1) Rebuilt 2280 on a M1 intake
2) Dutra Duals feeding into a flow-master exhaust
3) HEI with magna core wires
functioning ahead of the engine pull. Here are photos of the HEI http://www.flickr.com/photos/13718356@N ... 87082/plan is to get every thing working then move foreward. Rev's real free. that's good.
Will invite local slant six fellows, wvenerable, andysgt, oldblue,, for the engine pull and will go from there.

plan is to take the 83 motor out, re build it and then re-install.
I installed the intake - carb - exhaust - ignition that I plan to use before taking the motor down,, so those items are already verified for fit and function.
