I was going to buy a new coil for my HEI conversion when I aquired this:

As the HEI article says that is not the correct module, I will be installing the correct one in its place.

The problem is I can't find the correct spark plug wire for it. Here's the best close-up I could get of the spark port on the coil:

It's sorta weird, like deep down inside there's a pin connector. I went to the autoparts store and the guy could not find one that I could use. We did manage to find some wires that would connect that to a normal spark plug male type fitting, but I need the female type that goes into the distributor. Would anyone happen to have a part number for a spark wire that will work for this coil? I believe it's from a late 90s or early 2000s GM rwd pickup truck.
Thanks.

This is one reason why I like using Ford e-core coils. They are everywhere in the junkyard, and you can easily use the Ford coil to distributor wire. It isn't as tidy as the GM all-in-one package, but I use them in vans so I don't have fenderwells to mount stuff on anyway.

That's really, really nice of you, and I will do so. I was however hoping to get a part number so I could pick one up tomorrow and finish my HEI installation this weekend.

Most auto parts stores sell single ign. wires with different combo ends.

Oops forgot to update this one. I opted to buy a new ford coil instead so I could just use a normal wire.

Thanks guys

Did you get a wire that works? When I installed an e-core coil on my brother's 83 Dodge van I used the stock coil wire for an 84 Ford van with a 351W.
