I installed all new rubber weatherstripping, etc. in my '76 Dart a number of months ago. I noticed right away that the windows squeak/screech like crazy when rolling up or down. I thought it might wear in and stop with time... But now that it's summer, and I'm rolling the windows down all the time, I was reminded that it hasn't stopped. It seems to me like some sort of lubricant on the window felts should cure this, but then it would leave a film on the glass, so that would be no good. Windows clean or dirty makes no difference. Any ideas would be appreciated.

A good brand (such as CRC) of spray silicone lube. Roll the windows all the way down, spray inner and outer felts end-to-end, let 'em dry, and don't worry about a film forming on the glass.
